How to Serve Dallas Logistics Clients During a Worldwide Pandemic

During the pandemic, nearly 1/3 of small businesses were forced to close down operations. Some of those never opened again. At Dallas Courier, we count ourselves blessed that we’ve remained open as an essential business during the COVID-19 pandemic and the aftereffects. While we’re by no means experts on business operations during a worldwide pandemic, we are experts at Dallas Logistics.

We didn’t write the book on how to serve Dallas logistics clients during a worldwide pandemic, but we do know what worked for us.

Here’s how we continued to serve, despite a tumultuous last two years.

Remain flexible with operations-

Early on in the pandemic, Dallas Courier Service saw a growing need for residential deliveries for corporations with work from home employees. We added this service to our menu of offerings, and had dozens of clients utilize our services to deliver office equipment, paperwork, and proprietary items to remote employees from the central office. Thanks to our experienced drivers and our diverse fleet, we were able to provide deliveries to WFH employees from the ‘burbs to downtown high rises.

Stay transparent with your customers-

Honesty is always the best policy. We’ve been saying that since the inception of our organization. We believe in honesty and integrity in all of our business operations. For us, that means remaining transparent with your delivery. We’ve invested in state of the art technology so our customers can track their delivery from start to finish. Accurate delivery windows, down to the minute, keep our drivers honest. Customers can also access prior deliveries, including invoices. Transparency is key when it comes to satisfied customers.

Keep your core values-

The pandemic brought out the worst in some of us. Lookin’ at you- lady with the cart full of toilet paper! One of our greatest tips for surviving the whirlwind is to stay true to your core values. Dallas Courier was founded on the guiding principles of honesty and integrity in all our operations. We make it our mission to serve and serve well. When we put principles and people first, the rest just falls into place.

Remain a team-

When the world said “be alone”, Dallas Courier said “stay together”. Even if we weren’t in the same room with each other, we remained a team. As employees went remote, and corporations dispersed around the region, Dallas Courier assisted our clients with work from home deliveries, keeping the team “together” but physically separated. As we rounded out the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we put our people and our customers first. Taking care of the team was the most important way we survived the pandemic.

Retaining our Dallas logistics clients during a worldwide pandemic has been far from easy, but we’re grateful for the customers who’ve kept us running since 1983.

From medical offices to food distributors to home improvement specialists, Dallas Courier customers are like family to us. Despite the challenges of the last two years, we’re proud to serve, and continue to serve North Texas as we have for 40 years.

If you’re ready to get your Dallas logistics operations back on track post-COVID, give us a call. We’re here 24/7/365 for old clients and new ones. We can’t wait to add you to the happy Dallas Courier Service family!
