After Quarantine Cleaning You'll Need Warehouse Storage in DFW

Dallas Courier, Warehouse Storage in DFW

Forget the Starks, Spring is coming! And even if we've cancelled our plans for the sake of the health of the nation, it's still ok to prepare with a little quarantine cleaning.

For many of us, that means it’s time to find all those Texas springtime necessities: shorts, flip flops, and swim wings, but also parkas and snow boots. Hey, this is North Texas weather, after all! But in order to prepare for spring, we have to sort through the other stuff. You know what I’m talking about. The junk. The Christmas tree, the Halloween decorations, and the boxes of items you haven’t opened, except to open them and say, “not what I’m looking for.”

Folks call this "spring cleaning". Appropriately, it's now known as "quarantine cleaning". Dallas Courier calls this the perfect opportunity for utilizing warehouse storage in DFW.

While spring cleaning is easily managed at your home with a few weekends’ worth of cleanup, spring cleaning around your workplace is on a whole new level. Hiding away seasonal merchandise in the coat closet just isn’t going to cut it. You need warehouse storage in DFW. And, if you’re smart, you’ll spring for a warehousing and fulfillment expert like the folks at Dallas Courier.

Our Dallas Courier team members can do it all. We’ll come to your place, package up your items (at a safe distance, of course), load them into our temperature controlled vehicles, and move them to our centrally located and totally secure warehouse. We’ll utilize our state of the art technology to assist us in sorting and storing your products, and when you’re ready for them to move, we’ll pick, pack, and ship them to their next destination. This is the easiest spring cleaning hack you’ll ever get!

But we still have a few more words of advice for you. Dallas Courier can handle your spring cleaning at the commercial level, but it’s up to you to clear out your own homes for the upcoming change in seasons. Here are a few hacks to help you through household spring cleaning while you're stuck in quarantine, doing your part to #StayHome:

Wax your stovetop- Mr. Miyagi missed out on this tip. Once you’ve cleaned the grime off your stovetop, apply a thin layer of car wax. This will not only spruce it up, it will make it easier to clean off next time. Score!

Wait to wash your windows- Hold off until it’s a cloudy day before attempting to clean your outside windows. Sunshine dries the water too quickly, leaving soapy residue or streaks. Instead, mix equal parts vinegar and water, and wait for a cloudy day to get them fully clean. Don't worry- this is still acceptable, even if your city is currently in a shelter in place status!

Dust with fabric softener sheets- You could by those expensive dusters and refills, or you could grab a box of dryer sheets. They’re inexpensive and just as successful.

Use your dishwasher- Use your dishwasher to wash dishes, of course. (It’s actually cheaper than hand washing in most cases.) But you can also use it for other things: kids toys, hats, dish brushes, makeup brushes, toothbrush holders.

Consider citrus- Oh, the things you can do with a lemon! Use half a lemon to spruce up stainless steel. You can also freeze slices of orange or lemon with water to create a nice smelling cleaner for your garbage disposal. Lemons can also help rid cutting boards of residue and unwanted smells, like garlic and onion.

Make a volcano- Vinegar and baking soda make a great chemical reaction that can be used for many spring cleaning activities such as: unclogging a sink, cleaning a toilet, freshening up grout, removing stains, cleaning your oven, removing gunk from your dishwasher. It's also a really fun STEM lesson to share with your kids while they're schooling from home.

Looking to spruce up your home? These spring cleaning hacks will do the trick. If you’re looking to clear out the office, though, you’re going to need some help. Our Dallas Courier team offers warehousing storage in DFW that can help you with your office spring cleaning. The best part is, you don't even have to lift a finger, or get closer than 6-feet. Utilizing straight trucks, vans, and pick up trucks, we can move large or oversized items as part of our same day shipping service.  Not only that, our fulfillment operations experts can transport your items to your customers on your behalf during this difficult time.
